Aercus Instruments - Wireless Professional Rain Gauge with In/Out Temperature

Arrived promptly. Easy to setup. My only grudge is that the reading jumps from 5mm to 10mm. And then in 10 mm increments until 50mm when it jumps to 100mm. So really only truly accurate until 5mm then it’s guess work.

Hi.. I bought this for my Husband as the rain gauge and thermometer he had for a very long time and even the years of cellotape could no longer hold out...We have sorted out the New one and done all the digital stuff and ready to go....all good...However it hasn't rained yet,we are pushing for next week :-) it looks good and I am sure that it will be great Thankyou Dianne PS..Great service only 2 days to get to far north miracle..D

Great service - arrived quickly in time for Christmas. This product does what it says on the box at an affordable price. Easy to set up and run. The self-emptying function will be useful here on the West Coast.

I like the simplicity of the system, had one very similar before, about 15 years ago, which my son still uses. This was much easier to set up as no wires to connect gauge and Rain catcher

This is the second of these units I have bought. Easy enough to set up, and I have found them completely reliable in operation. There are many weather stations at a wide variety of prices. For records of what has happened, this is the best that records rainfall. Because it empties itself every time the reading increments, there is no need for any maintenance other than to replace the batteries once a year. The current and min/max temperatures, both inside and outside are useful, but when sun is shining on the outside unit, it reads higher than the 'official' temperature. Therefore, if possible, use a shady position while still being far from obstacles that would affect the rainfall reading. In summary, it is useful for recent rain and temperature readings, and will let you know the worst frost you have had or the amount of rainfall on your garden, even if you've gone away from home for a month.

I have had it for several weeks. It works as expected and inexpensive. Has many output functions. Temperature readings agree with a few my other temperature sensors. The rainfall mm agrees with the local weather station reports. I recommend it
