Aercus Instruments - Wireless Professional Rain Gauge with In/Out Temperature

Had it going for a week now and seems to operate well. Plenty of options for checking different periods of rainfall. Had different rain gauges before and never had one that was durable past a year or so so time will tell with this one.

Just got my second one of these. When I was bought the first one as a present around 7 years ago I didn't think I needed it but I was wrong. It turned out to be the most valuable and accurate tool to help not only with gardening but also with planning around the reasonably severe and unpredictable climate I live in. When that first one died I REALLY missed it so I went straight online to order a new one. It's a really great piece of equipment and excellent value.

Second one of these for me. Easy to set up and reading fine from about 40m.

We found that the instructions for setting up this weather gauge were challenging to follow. The gauge works well but it is not really self explanatory and I am still unsure what all the different bits of information mean. My husband says the information is accessed by pressing the buttons a certain number of times but we can never remember how many presses are necessary. That said we can see how many mm of rain we have had and that is helpful, so I'm pleased I bought it. This review is certainly influenced by our general lack of technical skill, so if someone is tech savvy I'm sure it will be considered a good buy.

Good gear - improvement on my previous station. Recommended.

Just what I wanted. Working well. Easy to set up. Only difficulty was finding screws to go through the 3mm mounting holes. Would be better if they were 5 or 6mm.

It took me a little bit of time to work out how it works and how to read it. But the manual was great. The product is fantastic. I love it.
