Replacement Wind Speed Bearing cartridge for VP2 (2003 or later)

I have a Davis Pro2 ; the bearing on the old unsealed cartridge had deteriorated such that only intense gusts were registering. This part solved the problem and is a closed unit, so looks like it will be less susceptible to contamination. The part does not come with installation instructions, but is reasonably intuitive to install. This is a perfect replacement for the older-style cartridge that isn't sealed at the top, which means contaminants eventually work their way in and cause the bearings to start sticking. Replacement takes a matter of minutes, undo the screw that attaches it to the vane, pop out the cartridge (with the anemometer arms still attached), bring them somewhere where you can easily work on them, move the anemometer arms across to the new cartridge, and clip it back into place on the Davis.

Arrived next day. Perfect replacement for the worn one we had :)
