One comes supplied with the display, but you can add two more to gather temperature and humidity information in other rooms such as a garage, greenhouse, cellar or kid's bedroom. Simple to set up. The sensors are water resistant, so are also suitable for mounting in a shaded, sheltered area outdoors, such as in the eaves, under the deck
