Product Description
The air inside and outside your home is invisible. Even when it is dangerous. Breathing polluted air can lead to serious health issues, especially in children and adults with respiratory and health issues. AirLink accurately measures particulate matter for PM1, PM2.5, and PM10 to give you easy-to-understand graphs and color-coded Air Quality Index (AQI) readings based on inhalable particles that are small enough to penetrate deep into the lungs and enter the bloodstream.
- Stand alone unit - you don't need a Davis WeatherLink Live, data logger or weather station.

Great air quality sensor
I had no issues in connecting the unit to my Wifi and the Weatherlink App. The only issue was the power requirement - 5V USB power adaptor and cable (which is around 1 metre long). So you will need to have a mains power point (or extension lead) nearby to where you wish to mount it, in my case outdoors

Great device to monitor particulates.
We're using the AirLink as a standalone device to monitor wood burner particulates and it has done a good job of that. Getting data and alerts via weatherlink.com is really easy too. We had a minor issue with initial connection to the WiFi via the mobile app, sorted by putting it on a dedicated 2.4GHz network. For outdoors use we paired it with a USB power bank that we swap out to charge each week.
