Replacement works
Fixed the fault on a weather station purchased less than 2 years ago - suspect a spider's nest caused the damage; the fact this was all it took to break the device is why only 3 stars. Technically not hard to replace - just a bit fiddly. No special tools required. As the cost is not inconsequential compared to the complete unit, you want to be sure this is the problem. Support team at Scientific Sales provided very quick responses and helpful information.

Easy replacement
My humidity sensor failed after two years service. My temperature sensor also developed intermittent faults at low temperatures. This OEM product replacement was easy to obtain and install, correcting both faults.
