Since my first review, I have had a technologist set up my PC interface. The readouts that one obtains are fascinating. I now have an ever-updating table of readings, at what ever time-interval I choose. I began by choosing every 5 minutes, just to see what fine variations can occur; and now I have settled for hourly. Around dinner time each day, I switch on and take a look at exactly what happened over the previous 24 hours. I then scribble a few of the highlights into a diary, while the official record remains forever in my computer as a dat. file. I have Windows 10, and the set-up instructions to "configure the USB port" were of no help, but the USB driver installed easily, and when we searched for a suitable COM Port, we found the active one easily. Where it not for my unease with a few of the instructions, I would have rated this product five stars.

I installed this model a month ago and have been impressed with the capacity of the system, and the range of read-outs. I am using it with cable connections instead of WiFi, as my area suffers from EMF interference - so my reception at the base station is perfect. I deliberated long and hard before placing the Thermo-Hygro Sensor on a wall of the house which receives no sun whatsoever. I then placed the other sensors within 10 metres of this - the rain sensor on a shelf I made projecting off the roof fascia, and the wind sensor on a disused aerial pole that was still in place on the roof ridge. In these positions I have avoided the interference of trees, and believe I am receiving close to optimal readings. Already I have measured a gust of 92.1 kph. I had wanted to use the PC interface, but I am finding it impossible to enable the USB port - as so far as I can tell the system is not compatible with Windows 10. In general I find the manual too complex to follow easily, and there are definite gaps - such as how to separate the base of the rain gauge for screwing down. The Help Desk has assisted me considerably, but a forum of users would help too, if we could start one.
